St. Patricks day

Saint Patrick’s Day – it is a day that is celebrated by people not only in Ireland, but also in cities all around the world including Tallinn. On the 17th March, we honour our patron saint by attending exciting festivals and parties, and of course by wearing the colour green, the colour of the shamrock that Saint Patrick used to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagan Irish.

Here in Tallinn, the St Patrick’s Festival Weekend 2018 starts on Thursday 15th of March with the ‘BECC/Amcham St Patrick’s Networking’ in Route 13 Suur-Karja, 16th of March sees the ‘Embassy of Ireland Annual St Patrick’s Day event’, and to cap off a great festival of activities including ‘St Patrick’s Children’s Party’, IEBN will host the ‘St Patricks Ceili Mór Dinner Dance’ in Õpetajate Maja, 19.00 till late on the 17th of March.
